The transfer window for the 2018-19 school year opens in January! To request a transfer, please visit www.aps.edu and fill out the Transfer Request Form.

If your student is not currently attending Jackson, please request a transfer during the month of January to get your student on the first list of transfers.

If your student is at Jackson but you've moved out of the district, please fill out a transfer request for next year; your student will be given first priority.

If your student is an eighth grader on a transfer to Jackson and you would like them to attend Manzano or Eldorado for high school, please fill out a transfer request.

If your student is a sixth or seventh grader currently attending Jackson on a transfer, you don't need to do anything - the transfer will automatically renew for next year.

Students have been bringing "slime" to school lately, but it's not allowed at Jackson! Students, please do not bring any of this to school, homemade or not, and don't buy any of it from your classmates. If we see you playing with "slime" at school, we will confiscate it and throw it away.

We're having problems with the ParentVUE/StudentVUE site right now, and it's timing out when parents or students try to log in. The APS technology team is working with the software vendor to resolve the issue, and we hope that it will be working soon.

Please keep an eye on your student's agenda for any messages from teachers. You can always contact teachers directly by clicking on the blue envelope next to their names on the "Teachers and Staff" page of this site.

As soon as we have an update about ParentVUE, we will post an announcement. It's a wonderful tool when it's working!

Dear 6th Grade Parents,

Letters went out on 5/11/17 to all sixth-graders who still need a Tdap shot for 7th grade. If you are not sure if your child has this shot, you can check their immunization record on ParentVUE. Students will not be able to register for 7th grade without the Tdap shot.
