About Sports, Clubs, and Activities

A wide variety of athletics, activities, and clubs will be available throughout the school year for both boys and girls, starting in late September or early October. Intramurals take place during the noon hour and sometimes after school between 3:15 and 4:20 p.m.  

Intramural sports activities vary through the year. Competition with other schools is limited by district policy and is not the primary focus of this program. Clubs may also become available both through MSCI (Middle School Cluster Initiative) and through school-based sponsors (the latter include National Junior Honor Society, Student Senate, Yearbook, etc.).

We have dances and special activities throughout the school year. The end-of-the-year 8th Grade activities will not be attended by any student who receives a referral resulting in ISS or home suspension during the 4th nine weeks.  The sponsors of after-school activities reserve the right to set criteria for students in the activity to follow. If those guidelines are violated the sponsor reserves the right to prohibit a student from participating.

Clubs and Tutoring

This is the schedule for clubs and tutoring beginning September AFTER LABOR DAY. Afternoon clubs run from 3 p.m. - 4 pm. STUDENTS MUST HAVE A COMPLETED PARENT PERMISSION SLIP FOR ANY AFTER-SCHOOL ACTIVITY/CLUB.
